Xfest Northwest (NW) details

Where? About 45 minutes east of Portland Oregon. Event Location: Skamania County Fairgrounds, 650 Rock Creek Dr., Stevenson, Washington 98648.
When? Labor Day Weekend (Labor Day is the first Monday of September).
Why? To worship God.
How? By allowing independent bands to perform.
What? Camping, Skatepark (see picture below), Coffee shop, kids playground, 3 total stages, Acoustic, hiphop, punk, hard rock, electronica. Breakfast and lunch is available for purchase at the coffeehouse. No alcohol is allowed on the fairgrounds. No fires are allowed on the fairgrounds. Pets must be on a leash at all times and all refuse must be cleaned up.

Admission? See newest info page. Children age 10 and under free. Family rate applies to all the members of a household under one roof which includes parents and dependents.Sunday is Free Entry for All.

Camping? $10 dollars per campsite, for the entire festival, (up to 6 people). Campsites must be purchased at the gate on the day of the event. Camping is allowed Friday noon through Monday mid-day.

Showers? Yes (Quarters).

What to bring? A Christlike-mind, food, tents or trailers, a towel, and a camping stove if you plan to cook.

Directions? From Portland, take I-84 to the "Bridge of the Gods" (exit 44) a toll bridge which costs $1 for cars and trucks (more for RV's) to cross (both ways). Take a right at Highway 14 on the Washington State side and drive for about 1 mile. Take a left at the historic site marker. Drive another mile you'll see camping on the right hand side.



What else? 4 horseshoe pits and a volleyball net are on the grounds. There are a few RV hookups along the eastern side of the tree lined camping area (get there early). Town is within walking distance so you will be able to buy stuff if needed. Free Wi-Fi internet access provided by The Stevenson Wi-Fi Project. There is shallow water for kids to play in. There is no boat launch on site. There is a Boat Ramp/Kayak Launch in downtown Stevenson, about 1 mile from the fairgrounds (call 509.427.5484 for more info). Suggested items to bring to the festival: A hat or sunblock and a sweater for the nights. A bike, 3 or 4-wheel scooter, or golf cart like transportation may be helpful because it can be a long walk from one performance stage to another.
